Lyon Court Records from 249 years ago today.

On 11th May 1768, John Man resigned as Albany Herald and was replaced the following month by John Douglas. John Man lasted a mere two years in the job and gave as his reason for resigning that it was "inconvenient" for him to carry out the duties. Since he lived in Wales, this is hardly surprising!

John Douglas used differenced arms of Douglas of Mains.
